Description

provides the student the opportunity to gradually assume the role and responsibility of the classroom teacher and the multi-age classroom under the supervison of qualified school and University personnel. This experience allows the candidate to engage classroom students in the language learning process, utilize methods and theories, and attempt to establish communicative competence. The student teacher is assigned for one-semester on a full-time, all-day basis with supplemental conferences and seminars to provide reflection, analysis, and evaluation of the experience. (Two 7-week experiences)
